- Your call or request goes to an independent HVAC contractor who takes calls for your ZIP code, when one is available.
- The contractor talks to you directly about the problem, timing and price.
- You decide whether to hire them. You are never obliged to.
Coverage changes from day to day. Not every request can be matched, and the contractor always confirms whether they can reach you.
Contractors may pay this site for referrals. That payment never obliges you to hire anyone. You are free to hang up, get other quotes or choose a different contractor at any point.
How this site makes money
HVAC contractors or call networks may pay us when they receive a call or request through this site. Calling and sending a request is free for you, and you are never obliged to hire the contractor. Being paid per call does not mean we have inspected, licensed or approved the contractor's work.
Before you hire anyone
Check the contractor yourself. Ask for proof of liability insurance, ask whether there is a diagnostic or trip fee, and get the repair price or an itemized quote in writing before work starts, as ENERGY STAR advises. Call a reference if you can.
